The Christmas competitions all happen in a rush and will end on the 22nd December with a disco at St Michaels. Make sure you get a ticket. We also have our ‘blow away the cobwebs’ walk on the 29th December in Bollington.
Congratulations to our newly qualified judges, Bev Perkins is now a regional judge, Katie Smith, Louise Hey, Helen Griffiths and Phil Richardson are all Club Judges. We now have 13 judges qualified to the Cycle 11 code.
Cathy Healy has taken her Club Coach Course (Level 2), exams next year.

First session in 2008. Early start for the year.

2nd/3rd February 2008
GM Grades 5 and 6 at Salford to select the GM team. Pre-Grade 6 and Grade 4 championships are also on this weekend. First competition of the year.
Text Box: Happy Christmas and time for a break, although much shorter than normal due to the very early running of the GM Grades in February. This is a big event for the club and we want to do well. We have never had more than 1 gymnast in the GM team and this coming year we have a good chance of improving on that.
The NWGA Novice competition in November was a personal triumph for Laura Sefton who is our first individual winner that I can remember. An excellent performance reported on in more detail on page 2. The coaches and parents Christmas Party at Edgerley Park. 20 signed up this year for an Abba Cabaret.

16th December
The Club Championship will be held on this Sunday at Dialstone and will include all 2 and 4 piece club gymnasts.

The Christmas Recreational Competitions to be held at Dialstone in the morning. In the afternoon there will be a parents have-a-go session, a chance to vault, good fun, or on the beam, very scary. Last event of the year and followed by the Christmas Party at St Michaels Church Hall.

23rd to 31st December
Christmas Break, but make sure you come on the Christmas walk,  more mountain climbing in Bollington on the
