Stockport School of Gymnastics runs an Elite squad where girls train for up to 11  hours a week for competitions and grades. The current squad is 45 strong with ages ranging from 5 to 18. Membership is by invitation only based on assessments held during the recreational sessions. We also accept transfers from other clubs if we have sufficient coaching resource.

8.00 to 9.00      Targeted Coaching

New for 2007 is the formation of the Two Piece squad. There are a growing number of two piece competitions in the North West and the squad has been formed to enter as many of the competitions as possible.

The elite gymnasts concentrate on preparation for the British Development Plan Club Grades and competitions held in the North West Region. All gymnasts are members of British Gymnastics and take part in our annual visits to France, local carnivals, school fairs and club fund raising events.
