Stockport Centre for Gymnastics
We have been at Dialstone Recreation Centre since 1986, formerly as Dialstone School of Gymnastics and now as Stockport School of Gymnastics.
Although we have been supported over the years by Stockport Borough Council, there is nothing quite like having your own place.
In 1995 we almost succeeded in building an extension to the Recreation Centre which would have been solely for Gymnastics.
The plan faltered in the final stages.

We are trying again and are taking a different route. We plan to move into a large unit which will be big enough
for all of our current gymnasts and the 150 that we have on the waiting list. The new centre will be open for longer
hours and will allow us to offer classes during the week.

We hope that it will be an asset to the community. These pages will update you on the progress we are making, will let you see
inside the gym and very importantly, how you can help.
