There are a couple of changes to the published info so please take note and put the new dates in your diary. The main change is that we will be holding the Club Championship on Sunday 16th December as there are now too many gymnasts to run it after the Recreational Competition. We are also going to run a beam competition for the 2 piece girls so it will be an interesting day. Text Box: Gym opening November Open all sessions but with the following provisos: Mike is away in Pakistan on business until Thursday 8th so look out for maybe cancellations in that week. Depending on the timings for the NW Comp there may not be gym on Sunday 18th. November 17th/18th NWGA Pre-Novice and Novice/Level 3/Level 4 Out of Age Individual Championships at Birchwood. 7th December The coaches and parents Christmas Text Box: Party at Edgerley Park. Details are on the notice board and on page 3 of this newsletter. 16th December The Club Championship will be held on this Sunday at Dialstone and will include all 2 and 4 piece club gymnasts. 22nd December The Christmas Recreational Competitions to be held at Dialstone in the morning. In the afternoon there will be a parents have-a-go session, a chance to vault, good fun, or on the beam, very scary. Last event of the year and followed by the Christmas Party at St Michaels Church Hall. Text Box: on page 2. We are hoping for medals as in the 2006 competition. On the left are Leandra Brennan and Jade Hollick at the GMGA Presentation Evening at the start of October. Leandra represented the county in 2006 and Jade in 2007. Who will follow in their footsteps in 2008? Finally congratulations to Jade Waldron’s little brother Adam who is the North West Men’s Elite Champion for 2007 and will take part in the National Finals in Newcastle. Well done Adam. Text Box: 23rd to 31st December Christmas Break, but make sure you come on the Christmas walk, probably more mountain climbing in Bollington with Andy Sefton. The details will be in the December newsletter. 3rd January 2008 First session in 2008. Early start for the year. 2nd/3rd February 2008 GMGA Grades 5 and 6 at Salford to select the GMGA team. Pre-Grade 6 and Grade 4 championships are also on this weekend.
