Traditionally the only two piece competition that the club was invited to was the Phil Tighe competition, organised by Tameside each year in Staleybridge. However, year by year the number of competitions has grown and in 2006 we were invited to 5 and on top of that were the County and Regional competitions.

In 2007 it is time to start building a squad.

The Two Piece coaches run and manage the squad, which is drawn from the elite gymnasts and the better recreational gymnasts. Most of the training takes place on Sundays, however for competitions like the Frank Williams, extra sessions are run on a Tuesday evening.
